Practice
My practice is focused on helping people struggling with a variety of concerns. You may be dealing with a specific issue (divorce, loss, stress, depression), or just living with a strong sense that your life is not in order, and that you want things to be different. The development of a collaborative, trusting, therapeutic relationship is the first step of psychotherapy. From that place, we can work together to explore the feelings you are having, the patterns that may be causing you distress, and develop healthy ways to understand and adapt to the challenges that impact mental health.
Who I serve / With whom I work
I work with adults of all ages.
I have specific expertise and interest in working with seniors to assess and treat the challenges that impact mental health later in life.
My areas of specialty include grief support, transitions into retirement, adjustment challenges, living with chronic illness and/or pain, receiving or giving care, and cognitive impairment.
Fees / Insurance
Fees for a session are based on the usual and customary rates for providers in this area. A sliding scale is available, based on financial need.
I accept Medicare but am not an “in-network” provider for any other insurance. Many PPO insurance plans offer reimbursement for the services of licensed professionals; I can provide you with a superbill for this purpose.
